Kim Kardashian is now opening out about her previous marriages. Kim is currently divorcing her soon-to-be ex-husband, Kanye West. She discusses her divorce from ex-husband Kris Humphries at the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion with Andy Cohen. Kardashian married the former NBA player in August 2011 in a rumored $10 million wedding that was shown as a two-part TV special after a whirlwind relationship. Kim filed for divorce 72 days after the couple tied the knot in 2011.
She confessed on June 19 that she owes an apology to her ex-husband, Kris Humphries, for the way she mishandled their 72-day marriage. Kim said that she botched her short-lived 2011 wedding on this Thursday’s edition of “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen, which was a special KUWTK reunion episode, according to reports. She stated she handled things very incorrectly since she didn’t know what to do and was afraid of breaking up with someone. She emphasized how she had completely broken up with him and couldn’t figure out how to deal with it. She went on to say that she had learned a lot from the breakup.
Kim also said, according to insiders, that she felt pressured to marry Kris because the wedding was being recorded for “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” She disregarded Kris Jenner’s suggestion to back out because she didn’t want to be recognized as a runaway bride, but she realized she had made the wrong decision when she felt claustrophobic during their honeymoon in Italy.
Kardashian said she tried to contact Humphries several times to apologize for the grief she caused him. She also admitted to having to try to call him for months. She ran into the basketball star at the Beverly Hills Hotel once, but he refused to talk to her. Whereas all of his buddies stood up and greeted her, he simply stared at her without saying anything.
Kim had eloped with music producer Damon Thomas when she was 19, thus this was her second marriage. At the end of the conversation, Kim shared a sad truth: she wishes she had only married once. Kardashian filed for divorce from her third spouse, musician Kanye West, in February 2021. The former couple had four kids together.
